Our Master Seamstress, Kenyetta "Kay" Grate understands basic garment construction; therefore, she is more than capable of fixing your garment malfunctions. You don't have time to sew or secure a button on your favorite coat? Let her secure it! Did you loose weight and don't want to buy new clothes? Let her help you save money. Or, maybe you have a brand-new pair of slacks that are dragging the ground. Let her hem them! With over 10 yrs of experience in the fashion industry, from styling & altering on video sets, to garment construction for mass production, Ms. Grate is equipped to handle your garment malfunctions. BODY MEASUREMENTS
If you are planning to have a custom garment made it is essential to have proper measurements. At Sew Grate Alterations, we understand what is needed to construct your garment. Let us serve you by taking your body measurements to ensure a proper fit for your customer garment.

PRIVATE SEWING CLASSES
At Sew Grate Alterations, we believe in empowering & guiding our community through the vehicle of sewing. We offer private sewing classes where we teach basic garment construction.
